What "Unlimited" means.

Philhosting provides Subscribers with bandwidth, disk space and other resources, such as e-mail, mysql databases, and/or file-transfer-protocol ("FTP") accounts, the amount of which is defined in Philhosting's web pages describing the package of Services purchased at the time of purchase. In some cases, Philhosting may not establish a specific amount of bandwidth, disk space and other resources, and refer to that as "Unlimited". In all cases, the Services are intended for normal and fairly use only, and any activity that results in excessive usage that is inconsistent with normal usage patterns is strictly prohibited. Philhosting reserves the right to suspend, discontinue or delete the accounts of Subscribers whose use of disk space, bandwidth or other resources results in or presents the risk of degradation of service to other customers, regardless of the amount of disk space, bandwidth or other resources included in the Subscribers plan. Subscribers agrees that such usage shall not exceed the amounts set by Philhosting for the Services purchased (the "Acceptable Use Policy") and is additionally subject to normal usage guidelines established by Philhosting as in effect from time to time. These allotments are optimized and dedicated towards serving the Content and Subscribers active electronic mail services related solely to Subscribers web hosting account(s) with Philhosting.

What "Unlimited" DOES NOT mean.

Philhosting employs complex mechanisms to protect its Subscribers and systems from abuse. Philhosting's offering of "unlimited" services is not intended to allow the actions of a single or few Subscribers to unfairly or adversely impact the experience of other Subscribers. Philhosting's service is a shared hosting service, which means that multiple Subscriber web sites are hosted from the same server and share server resources. Philhosting's service is designed to meet the typical needs of small business and home business website Subscribers worldwide.
It is NOT intended to support the sustained demand of large enterprises, internationally based businesses, or non-typical applications better suited to a dedicated server. Philhosting will make every commercially reasonable effort to provide additional resources to Subscribers who are using their website(s) consistent with these Terms, including moving Subscribers to newer and bigger shared servers as necessary.
However, in order to ensure a consistent and quality experience for all Subscribers, Philhosting does place automated safeguards to protect against any one site growing too quickly and adversely impacting the system until Philhosting can evaluate said sites resource needs.

Unlimited Hosting Space; excessive MySQL files; excessive Email account usage.

Philhosting does not set arbitrary limits on the amount of disk space a Subscriber can use for the Subscriber's website, nor does Philhosting charge additional fees based on an increased amount of storage used, provided the Subscriber's use of storage complies with these Policies.
Please note, however, that the Philhosting service is designed to host websites. Philhosting does NOT provide unlimited space for online storage, backups, or archiving of electronic files, documents, log files, etc., and any such prohibited use of the Services will result in the termination of Subscriber's account, with or without notice. Accounts with a large number of files (inode count in excess of 200,000) can have an adverse affect on server performance. Similarly, accounts with an excessive number of MySQL tables (i.e., in excess of 1000 database tables) or of database size (i.e., in excess of 3GB total MySQL usage or 2GB MySQL usage in a single database) negatively affect the performance of the server. Also Accounts with a large email accounts size (i.e., in excess of 2GB total email accounts usage) will affect the performance of the server. Philhosting may request that the number of files/inodes, database tables, or total database usage and total email accounts usage be reduced to ensure proper performance or may terminate the Subscriber's account, with or without notice.

Philhosting will monitor Subscribers use of bandwidth, disk usage and other resources. Philhosting, in its sole discretion, shall have the right to take any corrective action if User's utilization of bandwidth, disk usage or other resources exceeds the Agreed Usage, resource usage, or is used for other improper storage or usage. Such corrective action may include the assessment of additional charges, disconnection or discontinuance of any and all Services, removal or deletion of Subscribers Web site, User Content, Subscribers electronic mail and e-mail services and/or other materials and services or termination the Subscribers account and of this Agreement, which actions may be taken in Philhosting's sole and absolute discretion.

Unlimited Domains

Unlimited domains refers to subdomains, parked domains and add-on domains. In all cases, the Services are intended for normal use only, and any activity that results in excessive usage that is inconsistent with normal usage patterns is strictly prohibited. Philhosting reserves the right to suspend, discontinue or delete the accounts of Users whose use of unlimited subdomains, parked domains and add-on domains results in or presents the risk of degradation of service to other Subscribers, regardless of the amount of domains included in the User's plan. User agrees that such usage shall not exceed the amounts set by Philhosting for the Services purchased (the "Acceptable Usage Policy") and is additionally subject to normal usage guidelines established by Philhosting as in effect from time to time. These allotments are optimized and dedicated towards serving the Content and Subscribers active electronic mail services related solely to Subscribers web hosting account(s) with Philhosting.

If Philhosting takes any such corrective action under this section, User shall not be entitled to a refund or credit of any fees paid prior to such action. Subscribers will comply with all applicable laws, rules and regulations regarding Subscribers Web site, Subscribers Content and/or Subscribers electronic mail services, including use of bandwidth, disk usage and other resources and will use such services and resources only for lawful purposes. User may not utilize: the Services to copy material from third parties (including text, graphics, music, videos or other copyrightable material) without proper authorization; the Services to misappropriate or infringe the patents, copyrights, trademarks or other intellectual property rights of any third party; the Services to traffic in illegal drugs, gambling, obscene materials or any other products or services that are prohibited under applicable law; the Services to export encryption software to points outside the United States in violation of applicable export control laws; the Services to forge or misrepresent message headers, whether in whole or in part, to mask the originator of the message.
If Philhosting learns or discovers that User is violating any law related to User's Web site, Subscribers Content and/or Subscribers electronic mail services, use of bandwidth, disk usage or other resources or Agreed Usage, Philhosting may be obligated to or may in its discretion inform the necessary law enforcement and/or any related agency(ies) of such conduct and may provide such agency(ies) with information related to User, User's Web site, Subscribers Content and/or User's electronic mail.

Subscribers is responsible for complying with any usage requirements or limits for bandwidth, disk space or other resources, and monitoring such usage to ensure the Web site does not violate such requirements or exceed any such limits allocated for the account(s) and otherwise complies with this Agreement. Philhosting will use commercially reasonable efforts to e-mail Subscribers who are at or near their utilization limits, but Philhosting does not take responsibility if e-mail notification(s) is not received by the User. Philhosting reserves the right to discontinue service through the beginning of the next month for your account in the event that it exceeds the any such allotment.
